Design and Build

The Sony MDR-1000X is perfectly designed to upgrade your noise cancellation experience. It gets rid of any background noise by just pressing the noise cancellation button. You can then isolate yourself from your environment. The MDR-1000X also has an ambient sound mode feature that allows you to choose between voice and normal modes.


Another great feature of the MDR-1000X is its unique one-hand gesture feature. You can just simply cover the house with one hand, and the music volume will decrease. Double-tapping the house enables you to answer phone calls, pause and play your music. You can also adjust the volume by sliding your fingers on the housing from top to bottom. Sliding your fingers horizontally back and forth lets you skip tracks. The touch controls are located on the right earcup.

Sound Quality

The MDR-1000X is a high-resolution headphone that supports an LDAC technology. This feature provides a higher quality sound than the standard Bluetooth connection.

According to Sony, this headphone has the first Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE HXTM) feature. It upscales compressed music files to near high-resolution audio quality.

A carrying case, a plug adaptor, a USB and headphone cable are included in the box.

The color black and beige matches with anything. It can go with any outfit of the day. Its housing and ear pads are made from soft synthetic leather so that you can listen to your music comfortably. This headphone fits your style wherever you go. You can just swivel the head cups and placed it in your bag or suitcase.

HIGHLIGHTS

I was surprised by its color. It looks better on hand than on the picture. The control features are amazing. Best noise canceling headphone ever!
