The Plantronics Voyager Focus UC is a fully-featured Bluetooth headphone that won’t let you down if you don’t want to make any compromises. This on-ear stereo headset is just as good for conference calls as it is for casual music listening, which is more than most mono headsets can claim.
It successfully combines great stereo audio, high-quality active noise canceling, a boom mic, all-day battery life, and long-wearing comfort without the drawbacks of mono headsets or headphones built primarily for music. Listen to music with a better experience without annoying background noise with Plantronics Voyager Focus UC.
The sound quality is surprisingly good for a Bluetooth headset designed primarily for conference calls. The music becomes very loud without being distorted, and the bass is evident but not overpowering. There’s just enough treble edge here for a well-balanced sound.
Plantronics offers some of the most advanced noise-cancelling technology available. One of the earcups has an “active noise cancellation” button for inward noise cancellation. That does an excellent job of canceling out the low background noise you get on trains, planes, and the like, but it won’t block out voices, keyboard sounds, or the like, alluding to the UC’s use as an office headset. In the linked smartphone app, you can enable HD Voice, which provides even greater voice quality than the normal mode.

Our time is fast phased, and most of the time, our personal life overlaps with our business life, and vice versa. So, we want a wireless headphone that not only looks business-like but can also look trendy. The Plantronics Voyager Focus UC looks exactly like that. You can bring it with you to work, to the club when you hang out with friends.
The Plantronics Voyager Focus UC has a slim design that’s available in black, red, and silver. They’ve subtly made the charging port, and the Bluetooth LED light, so that’ll make anyone envious.
The Plantronics Voyager Focus UC is a chunky wireless headphone. It weighs about 155 grams. It isn’t a foldable wireless headphone, and obviously, it isn’t lightweight.
So, it isn’t easy to carry around. If you use it while traveling, it might be a little hassle. Though don’t fret, the manufacturers provided a carrying case that neoprene.
When you aren’t using the headphone, you can put them on a sturdy charging stand. You can directly charge it using a USB slot. When you’re charging it, you’ll know it’s fully charged when the five blue lights are all turned on.
Despite having a lot of useful features, the Voyager Focus UC isn’t without flaws. The LED light on the Bluetooth adaptor mode is supposed to tell you whether it’s in mute mode or streaming media mode, but there are times that it doesn’t function.
The smart sensors also don’t perform well at times. There are times when they’re supposed to pause the music and start it over again, but they won’t. These drawbacks are manageable though since no wireless headphone is entirely perfect.
They’re very comfortable to wear, especially for someone like me who uses eyeglasses. The suspension band makes the headphone comfortable on the head. I can concentrate working while listening to music with ease.
