Jaybird hopes to reconcile over some negative criticism from its previous users. Well now, the company finally has a headphone that surpasses its critic’s expectations.
Most of Jaybird’s earlier models were named Freedom. However, the 2016 model looks different and has a couple of unique design features. For beginners, the buds have an exclusive “tapered step down” design. This is an extravagant way of promoting the product. Users can comfortably wear a helmet over them without a problem.
The Jaybird Freedom is an entirely new design to its predecessor (X2 wireless sports headphone).
The headphone has a pretty different design from the original. The earbuds are way thinner now and have a round design. This also means that the control panel is now bigger and lovely.
Talking about sound quality, one advantage of the Freedom wireless ear buds is the volume. The headphone has a loud sound which is ideal for outdoor activities. The bass and treble are recommendable, too. Users can adjust the EQ profile in the app according to their audio preference, and play with the audio enhancement controls.
Transmission
The wireless connection flawlessly works during testing. Regardless of where your phone is, the experienced is reliable. It can connect to Bluetooth at a distance up to 30 feet, which is an advanced feature. The new Jaybird has a standard wireless connection and features to your liking.
Battery
The Freedom wireless ear buds have 3 to 4 hours battery life. But, you can still use them even while charging to get up to 8 hours.
HIGHLIGHTS
The headphone has the best fitting. I’ve had the X and the X2 predecessors units, but this one is way better than of any of them. The sound is not bad and the time of charging the headphone is fast.
