Almost everybody can relate to hoping for a good sleep while on a long flight. Sometimes, you’re just unlucky when you’re starting to doze off, and a baby starts crying! Look how Oscar winner George Clooney and his barrister wife Amal Clooney dealt with this situation the cool way.
You can expect from first-time parents to be shaking when it comes to parenthood. Parenthood isn’t easy, and being on a flight doesn’t help. Babies don’t pick a decent place to start crying out. But the couple and first-time parents are catching up with parenthood like a pro. You’ll never guess what they’ve done!
The Clooneys recently flew on a plane with their adorable 6-month twins, Alexander and Ella Clooney, from Los Angeles to London in their British Airways flight. They anticipated already that anytime their twins are going to burst out, so they came prepared.
The couple wouldn’t want to disturb anyone on the flight just in case their twins won’t stop crying.
Guess what the kicker is? The twins didn’t make noise during the entire plane ride!
What did the couple do? They handed out noise-canceling headphones to the passengers nearby in the first class area in case their twins start to burst out. Movie director Quentin Tarantino was on the same flight and received a pair of headphones. The headphones came with hand-written notes from the couple which reads, ‘Our twins just discovered SQUAWKING!! Hope this helps make the flight a little quieter. – George and Amal.’
Passengers weren’t handed out with old and cheap headphones. In fact, they’re new with the active noise-canceling feature working well. A report says that the headphones are worth $350. It’s a limited edition. Supposedly it’s just reserved for Clooney’s family and friends.
The noise-canceling headphones they gave out were embellished by the Casamigos tequila logo, which George Clooney own along with Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman. The tequila company was founded in 2013.
George and Amal welcomed their twins last June 2017 which officially marked them as first-time parents.
